why i’m starting a blog in 2026 (yes… 2026.)

I know what you’re thinking.

“A blog? In 2026? Didn’t blogging die like… ten years ago?”

Maybe.

Or maybe it just grew up.

For years it felt like everything on the internet became about going viral. Fifteen-second videos. Perfect aesthetics. Chasing algorithms. If you weren’t posting constantly, it felt like you disappeared.

And honestly? I’m tired.

As a mom of two little kids, my life isn’t made for viral moments. It’s made of reheated coffee, school pickup lines, stepping on LEGO bricks, and trying to remember why I walked into the pantry.

I don’t always have time to record, edit, caption, and upload a video.

But I do have stories.

I have favorite products that have genuinely made motherhood easier. Little routines that help our family. Recipes that don’t require twelve ingredients. Craft ideas that don’t look like they belong in a magazine.

I wanted a place where I could share those things without feeling like I had to “perform.”

That’s what blogging feels like to me.

It’s slower.

It’s quieter.

It’s something you can read while your coffee is still warm (or while you’re hiding in the bathroom for five minutes of peace—we’ve all been there).

It reminds me of the internet I grew up with. Back when people had websites because they wanted to share something, not because they were trying to beat an algorithm.

Maybe that’s a little nostalgic.

Maybe it’s a little old-school.

But I think there’s room for that again.

If you found your way here, I’m so glad you did.

I hope this becomes a cozy little corner of the internet where you can find ideas that actually help, laugh at the chaos of parenting with me, and leave feeling just a tiny bit less alone.

No perfect homes.

No perfect moms.

Just real life, one post at a time.
